The Big Deal About Bed Bugs: Are You Familiar With The Medicolegal? (80m Lecture)



The patients that suffer from it best define Cimicosis. As a pathogenesis resulting from bed bugs feeding on humans, cimicosis has clinical features of pruritus and linear lesions. A diagnostic approach is a history of nocturnal bites and linear arrangements. A therapy is antipruritic agents, or topical corticosteroids, or systemic antihistamines, a pest management professional (PMP), and of increasing frequency, an attorney.

Defined as a case of injury or ailment in which investigation is essential to resolve the responsibility of causation of said injury or ailment, the big idea is the increasing medicolegal consequences of bed bugs. The medicolegal is a medical case with legal implications; where the attending doctor, after eliciting history and examining the patient, suspects an investigation by the appropriate agency is essential. A resultant civil case will require extensive medical and legal expertise.
