Attend this session and you will develop a more educational and
simple approach to approving plans for commercial kitchen hoods. You will be
provided insight to the true issues on what is happening in the HVAC industry.
This approach will provide proper installation practices, with complete
communication from the wholesaler, to the contractor, to the inspection
department, and finally to the end user. By conducting these simple principals
and applications, you will understand what all must be considered when sizing
the system, and the difference between balancing and fine tuning a system prior
to installation. This session will allow you to look at hoods differently, by
receiving and analyzing information from the installer prior to installation.
You will have the ability to utilize this knowledge for the welfare of the
public's health. By demonstrating these tools you will understand the correct
measures in being a successful health inspector.
